Introduced in patch 5.3, The Heroes Gauntlet is a pretty memorable journey. It ties most of the places the player visited in the Shadowbringers expansion together in a single dungeon. Naoki Hamaguchi, the co-director of 2020’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake, says he was greatly influenced influenced by Horizon: Zero Dawn, an action RPG developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2017. In an article published on the PlayStation Blog, Hamaguchi said Zero Dawn’s world and visuals were s big influence on Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and he expects the game to have a similar evolution to the forthcoming sequel Horizon Forbidden West, scheduled to be released for PS 4 and PS5 this year....

Sitting down to play Final Fantasy 7 in 2019 is a surreal experience. Fortnite’s weekly challenges for Week 6 of Season 4 offer a wide variety of actions and activities for players to complete. Fortnite is still in the midst of its massive Season 4 Marvel crossover event and while some challenges pertain to the event, most of the others are fairly standard challenges for Fortnite. One of the challenges this week is a bit specific, tasking players with consuming foraged items at the Holly Hedges location....

Fortnite’s Week 9 challenges are here, and this time players are tasked with gassing up a car at Catty Corner. This serves a double purpose, as it acts both as a challenge and an introduction to the Fortnite’s recently added cars found throughout the map. As a challenge, though, it is pretty easy. Fortnite added cars earlier this month, and fans have been enjoying the new feature so far. Fortnite is now offering a select group of players access to the Bhangra Boogie emote, but the method of qualifying will seem rather strange to some. In order to get the exclusive emote, players need to own a qualifying OnePlus phone and account, otherwise they are out of luck for the time being. This is not the first time that Fortnite has partnered with a phone company, as there was another set of exclusives limited to Samsung users a while back....

Fortnite’s season 7 week 4 challenges require players to complete a variety of tasks, as usual. These challenges range from setting off fireworks to destroying certain wood items and searching for certain letters to earning eliminations at expedition outposts. For those late to the party, an expedition outpost is a red building that usually houses planes and can be found near ziplines. To complete this week’s challenges and earn a total of 10 battle stars, players will need to find and eliminate other players at three of these outposts....

Epic Games’ Fortnite team recently announced that the game now has video chat for players to view each other while playing the game by using the Houseparty app. Just as Fortnite gets a new bundle, players will be able to visually connect with each other while playing in-game events. Fortnite has video chat now because Epic Games had acquired the Houseparty app last year and integrated the app’s video chat technology to use with the game....

Fortnite has always been known for its incredible crossovers, and one of the most beloved Fortnite crossovers was when John Wick was added to the game. With that in mind, the Russo brothers tweeted a picture of Tyler Rake and John Wick side by side, which got Epic Creative Director Donald Mustard pitching the idea of Tyler Rake joining Fortnite. Extraction was released on Netflix on April 24th, produced by and starring Chris Hemsworth....

Not too long ago, Epic Games and People Can Fly added a limited-time match style for the sandbox survival title Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode dubbed “Sneaky Silencers,” which pits players against one another to see who can take the crown with only the use of silenced weapons. Now, it looks as if the update has been a huge hit with the free-to-play mode’s PS4 fans, with streams of the game on Sony’s current generation console more than doubling those of Call of Duty: WW2 and Grand Theft Auto 5 combined....
