The Final Fantasy VII Remake has been made about 200% better thanks to a mod that forces the game’s main protagonist Cloud to don a dress for the entire game.

The game’s recent remake is all about bringing the magic of the original Final Fantasy VII - released in 1997 - back to life, complete with a good modern-day spruce-up. The game certainly has its shortfalls, a prominent one being that a lot of the extra content crammed into the game feels like a filler aimed at stretching out the run-time.

Despite that, FFVII Remake has been praised for hitting the nostalgic nail on its head. Memorable moments from the original have been revived in stunning HD, one of which being that scene wherein our main man Cloud Strife finds himself in a dress and hair extensions.

So of course, when fans saw (Miss) Cloud sporting his beautifully form-fitting, frilly frock in the game’s remake, they were positively tickled. But it wasn’t enough - what was missing was the opportunity to make him never take it off ever again.

And that’s why modders exist.

The videos showcasing the mod are as glorious as you might expect, showing Cloud kicking butt with grace and poise, with his perfectly-makeupped face and be-ribboned braids.

Ugh, we love the Internet.
