Custom Deliveries are weekly Final Fantasy XIV activities that reward Disciples of the Land/Hand with gil, experience, and a significant amount of Yellow or White Scrips.
Players can undertake a total of 12 deliveries per week, with each client accepting a maximum of six deliveries. All weekly activities reset every Tuesday at 12 a.m. PST, so if you’re trying to be efficient, make sure you’ve finished your deliveries before then.
Note that players must have completed the quest chain that allows them to craft or gather collectables in order to access Custom Deliveries.
There are currently five Custom Delivery clients in the game, each with their own storyline and requested items. Clients will grow to trust you more and more as you complete their deliveries. Advancing to new satisfaction levels will further their respective storylines, and reaching max rank with certain clients will allow you to glamour their outfits.
Here are the five clients, listed in order of least to most favorable rewards!
Zhloe Aliapoh
Zhloe is one of two Idyllshire clients, as well as Khloe Aliapoh’s spacey older sister. You may recognize Khloe as the orphaned Miqo’te child who gives you your Wondrous Tails journal. Well, Zhloe has decided to open an orphanage, and uses the money her shop brings in to run it. And what does her shop deal in? Collectables! This is where you come in.
Players unlock Zhloe’s deliveries by picking up “Arms Wide Open” from Geimlona. They must be level 60 and have completed “Go West, Craftsman” in order to unlock this quest. Zhloe’s outfit can be glamoured if players max out her satisfaction levels.
M’naago
M’naago is quite possibly the Resistance’s most endearing officer (admittedly by virtue of being the only one left standing after Stormblood) and she proves it in her Custom Delivery questline. You can unlock her as a client by talking to Galiena in Rhalgr’s Reach after finishing “Return of the Bull”, one of the Stormblood patch quests.
Speaking with M’naago reveals that she’s not satisfied with having won Ala Mhigo’s freedom; in fact, she wants to accumulate funds for the citizens left orphaned or widowed by the war. Who better to help her than you?
M’naago’s client questline is a heartwarming story about scamming rich people out of their money—for the orphans! M’naago notably rewards more Yellow Scrips than Zhloe, but unlike all other clients, her outfit cannot be glamoured after reaching max satisfaction with her.
Kurenai
Kurenai, the Ruby Princess, is first encountered when the Stormblood main scenario quest takes you to Sui-no-Sato, a fiercely isolationist underwater Raen Au Ra society. Before players can count Kurenai as one of their clients, they must first complete her quest chain, which begins with “The Palace of Lost Souls” and unlock M’naago’s Custom Deliveries.
Once that’s done, players can return to Kugane as a Disciple of the Land or Hand and pick up “The Seaweed Is Always Greener” Kojin Hireling in the Shiozaki Holstery. The Hireling will encourage you to visit Tamamizu—the Kojin’s village—at Kurenai’s behest.
Kurenai is looking to loosen Sui-no-Sato’s isolationism by having you deliver much-needed supplies that would greatly improve her peoples’ lives. To that end, she’s cooperating with Rowena’s House of Splendors to reward you with scrips! Isn’t that nice!
Players can glamour Kurenai’s outfit after maximizing their relationship with her. Her EXP, scrip, and gil yield is a little better than M’naago’s. That’s the power of royalty for you!
Adkiragh
Adkiragh can be accessed as a client after finishing the quest “Stormblood” and leveling any Disciple of the Land/Hand class to level 66 or higher. Players must complete “Purbol Rain” in order to unlock him, which is a quest offered by the Adarkim Warrior in The Azim Steppes.
Purbol Rain is a simple find and slay quest, so it shouldn’t take much time. Following that, head back to Idyllshire, finish “Between a Rock and a Hard Place”, and you’ve done it! You’ve unlocked Adkiragh. He’s got a golden pig head—isn’t he neat? You can make him take it off and otherwise glamour the rest of his outfit upon maxing out your satisfaction levels with him.
Kai-Shirr
Kai-Shirr is an NPC you meet as part of the main Shadowbringers questline, and he makes his grand return to Eulmore as a Custom Delivery client during the patches. His unlock quest, “Oh, Beehive Yourself”, becomes accessible after completing “Moving Forward”, which you’ll have to do to progress Shadowbringers’ patch storyline.
Players will also need to complete “The Boutique Always Wins”, which unlocks trade with the Boutique of Splendors. The quest can be picked up from Mowen, who… seems rather familiar, doesn’t she?
Kai-Shirr’s outfit can be glamoured upon maxing out his satisfaction.
