A great part of the MMO is the fact that one character can take on multiple jobs. However, players typically have a main job that they stick to for story content. One way to decide which job may be best to main is to match it with your zodiac. After all, like zodiac descriptions, each job has its own personality in a certain sense.
12 Aries: Warrior
Aries are born from March 21 to April 19. They are like the berserkers of the zodiac world, known for short-tempers and for running into situations head-first.
The closest thing Final Fantasy XIV has to a berserker is its tank job, Warrior. A courageous Aries would get the most out of a tank class since allows them to be leaders who can go first into battle. Warrior abilities benefit from that impulsive instinct.

Born from April 20 to May 20, Taurus are known for their stubborn personality. They can be uncompromising and their stability makes them difficult to force change on.
Paladin works a lot like a Taurus does. They refuse to die (this is also true in Dungeons and Dragons). While their attacks may not be as strong as Warriors, Gunbreakers, or Dark Knights, they typically the last player standing.
10 Gemini: Astrologian
Gemini are born from May 21 to June 20. They are known for their adaptability and ability to quickly learn new ideas. They also tend to dislike repetition.
With that in mind, Astrologian is the class choice for a Gemini. With their deck of cards, their abilities are randomized and won’t get repetitive. Gemini can also adapt to every card drawn in the best way.
9 Cancer: Ninja
Born from June 21 to July 22, Cancer are known to be secretive and moody people. They are loyal and emotional, so they protect themselves through only revealing themselves to people they trust.
This personality is beneficial for a Ninja. They work in the shadows and try to manipulate the battlefield to their advantage.
8 Leo: Dancer
Leo are born from July 23 to August 22. They love to be the center of attention and pamper themselves. A new shiny DPS job like Dancer is a great choice as it has a lot of fun glamour options and is a fun time with how flexible it is.
7 Virgo: White Mage
Born from August 23 to September 22, Virgo tend to be shy people. They are hardworking but also do not like to be the center of attention. With that in mind, they likely would dislike tank jobs. However, their hardworking nature is perfect for a healer like White Mage.
Virgos also tend to like animals and nature, and White Mages draw their power from the natural world.
6 Libra: Red Mage
Virgo are those born from September 23 to October 22. Their symbol is the scales, and they are skilled in diplomacy and value harmony.
Red Mages use a combination of black and white magic. Their attacks require a certain balance for the highest damage output, making it very suitable for a sign that is symbolically recognized by scales.
5 Scorpio: Dark Knight
Born from October 23 to November 21, Scorpio are fighters. They have bravery and passion but get a bad rap for falling to mistrust and violence.
In every sense, this is a Dark Knight personality. They are protectors, but cynical ones who are hyper-aware to the agenda of others. They value honesty and dislike passive people.

Sagittarius are born from November 22 to December 21. They are not just perfect for Bards because their symbol is a bow and arrow wielding centaur.
Both they and Bards value freedom, travel, philosophy, and tend to have a great sense of humor. The play style of Bard is also more fast-paced and free to move in battle, which a Sagittarius would appreciate.
3 Capricorn: Monk
Born between December 22 and January 19, Capricorns are family people. They value hard work, discipline, and self control. They have respect for tradition as well.
All of these traits are like a Monk. Monks work with their chakras for their power and have to unlock these chakras with great effort and meditation.
2 Aquarius: Scholar
Aquarius are those born from January 20 to February 18. They are typically very intellectual people who value fighting for causes and have a talent as good listeners. They also tend to hate being alone.
A job as a healer would make an Aquarius most satisfied, and Scholar in particular suits them. Scholars are known intellectuals in the lore and get a fairy companion, so they are never alone.
1 Pisces: Samurai
Born from February 19 to March 20, Pisces are gentle, wise, and intuitive people. They enjoy being alone, spiritual themes, music, and romance.
A graceful and moody class like Samurai would make any Pisces happy. The mentor NPC of the class is much like a Pisces, as he is also quite gentle, wise, and intuitive.
