Jackbox Games has revealed the final game coming to The Jackbox Party Pack 7. The game is called Blather ‘Round.

Blather ‘Round is a game about guessing prompts using descriptors. A player gets a secret prompt and then has to use a list of words to complete the sentence describing the secret word. The other players have to work together to guess the hidden prompt. While the other players are guessing, the player with the prompt can create more elaborate sentences to get players to guess what the prompt is. Speed matters in this game and players who can guess prompts the fastest will win.

The game is trying to emulate social situations where people can’t think of something, so they try to describe it as best as they can. It’s a social situation that everybody has been in before, so turning it into a game is another brilliant move by the Jackbox Games team. The Jackbox Team is leaning into social situations with Blather ‘Round and Talking Points. The difference between the two games is that Blather ‘Round doesn’t deal with the uncomfortable task of public speaking.

With the announcement of Blather ‘Round, The Jackbox Party Pack 7 has announced all of its games. Quiplash is returning with the third installment and is always a good time for fans of Jackbox. The Devils and the Details is a quirky game about devils that work together and betray each other. Champ’d Up is the Jackbox Games drawing game that meets Superfight. Talking Points takes the uncomfortable act of public speaking and turns it into a great party game. Blather ‘Round is a game about guessing prompts and teamwork. All these games sound like a fun time with friends, and in a pandemic, Jackbox games have been an excellent way to play games with friends while socially distancing.

The Jackbox Party Pack 7 is scheduled to release this Fall. Four new games join a returning favorite to round out the latest installment from Jackbox Games. Every game in this pack looks incredible, and the 7th installment of The Jackbox Party Pack has the potential to be the best one yet.
