Fire Emblem: Three Houses won a lot of gamers over. Both newcomers and series veterans raved about its story, gameplay, combat and most of all; it’s characters. The cast of three houses was dynamic and each group carried their route well.
As players progress through the game, it’s possible to get closer to characters both on the battlefield and in the Monastery. There’s a lot of ground to cover, so this will be a quick guide to every possible romance in the game.
35 Cyril
Cyril is an orphan who can be found around the monastery. He is an S-rank support for the female Byleth but can only be brought out on the battlefield post time-skip (depending on the route).
34 Catherine
Catherine is one of the Knights of Seiros who is incredibly devoted to Rhea. She is an S-rank support for the male Byleth.
33 Seteth
Seteth is the church of Seiros’ second in command. Though initially weary of the Academy’s new professor, he is a potential S-rank for the female Byleth in every route aside from Crimson Flower.
32 Gilbert
Gilbert is another Knight of Seiros teaching at the Officers Academy, and is a potential S-rank support for both genders of Byleth. Much like most of the characters connected to the Church, he cannot be romanced during the Crimson Flower route.
31 Alois
Alois is yet another Knight of Seiros that can reach an S-rank support with both Byleth’s. Alois is one of the rare exceptions among his compatriots who is romancable regardless of the route.
30 Shamir
Shamir is another Knight of Seiros who can be recruited regardless of the route. She is a romancable option for the male Byleth, and is pretty useful on the battlefield as well.
29 Manuela
Manuela is a teacher at the Officers Academy, and must be recruited in order to be available later on in the game. She is a potential S-rank support for male Byleth.
28 Hanneman
Hanneman is the other teacher at the Officers Academy. His recruitment is similar to Manuela’s, but he can only be romanced by female Byleth.
27 Hubert
Hubert serves as Edelgard’s retainer and can be pretty intimidating. Despite his loyalties to Edelgard, he can be romanced by female Byleth in the Crimson Flower route.
26 Sylvain
Sylvain is a member of the Blue Lions and has a reputation as a skirt-chaser. He can be romanced by female Byleth.
25 Flayn
Flayn can be recruited on every route aside from Crimson Flower, where she willingly leaves the player party. When in the party, she is a potential S-rank for male Byleth.
24 Ignatz
Ignatz is a member of the Golden Deer house. He can be an S-rank support for the female Byleth.
23 Caspar
Caspar is a brash and cheerful member of the Black Eagle house. He is romancable by female Byleth, though he does need to be recruited in certain routes.
22 Leonie
Leonie is a member of the Golden Deer house and has a connection to Jeralt. She can be romanced by the male Byleth during the war phase.
21 Ingrid
Ingrid is one of the more diligent members of the Blue Lions house, and can be found keeping other members – see Sylvain – in line. She is a possible S-rank for the male Byleth.
20 Ferdinand
Ferdinand is a member of the Black Eagles house and sees himself as Edelgard’s biggest rival. If in the party, he is a possible S-rank for female Byleth.
19 Linhardt
Linhardt is another member of the Black Eagles house, and is one of the more unique supports in the game. He is an S-rank support of both male and female Byleth.
18 Lorenz
Lorenz is a member of the Golden Deer house and is one of the most prideful nobles in the game. He is a potential S-rank for the female Byleth.
17 Raphael
Raphael is a member of the Golden Deer house and is one of the most easy to relate to in the whole game. He is a potential S-rank for the female Byleth.
16 Ashe
Ashe is a soft-spoken member of the Blue Lions house. He can be a potential S-rank for the female Byleth.
