The cast of Fire Emblem: Three Houses is adored by fans, and for good reason. The game is easily one of the best Fire Emblem games of all time, and this is due in no small part to the fantastic writing and development of its characters, which are a joy to learn about as you progress through the game. Today, we’re going to be taking a deep dive into that cast, and going over the birthday, age, and height of the game’s main characters (save for Sothis), as going over every single character in the game would take literal centuries. Major spoilers follow, so beware!
8 Male Byleth
The player character has two options to choose from when they start the game, Byleth or Byleth but a lady. Both of them are the same as they share the admirable trait of having virtually no personality to speak (they also both don’t speak) of. At the very least, their appearances differ somewhat.
Male Byleth is around 5 feet, 9 inches, shares a birthday with the player (or not, if you’re edgy and picked a different date), and is around 21 when the game starts, making them 26 post time skip.
7 Female Byleth
Female Byleth is basically the same as her male counterpart, save for having access to the absolutely fire Dancer costume. The male version simply cannot compete.
Despite being the same, female Byleth is much more beloved by the community, and she’s often the one who receives the most admiration and fan art of the two. Despite that, her only difference from male Byleth is her height, as she comes in at a short 5 feet, 5 inches.
6 Edelgard
The emperor herself, Edelgard, gives off the type of energy that would make her seem like she’s 7 feet tall. She’s an incredibly powerful woman who has zero qualms with starting a war if she has to. What an icon. Edelgard is the Black Eagles house leader and the Adrestian Empire’s emperor.
Edelgard is 17 when the game begins, making her 23 after the time skip. Her birthday is on June 22, and she comes in at a shocking 5 feet, 2 inches. Wow. The emperor is so smol.
5 Claude
The house leader that literally everyone has a crush on, we have Claude. Claude leads the Golden Deer house, and is the head of Fódlan’s Leicester Alliance. Claude is a trickster who will scheme his way to victory whenever it’s required. He’s also incredibly sarcastic, and a gifted archer.
Claude is the same age as Edelgard when the game starts, 17. Once the time skip hits, he finishes off part two at 23. Claude’s birthday is July 24, and he is 5 feet, 9 inches, sharing his height with Male Byleth.
4 Dimitri
The softest boy in all of Fódlan before having a complete mental breakdown that sends him spiraling further than anyone has ever spiraled, we have Dimitri, who is the house leader of the Blue Lions and the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus and is in desperate need of a hug at literally all times.
Dimitri shares his age with Edelgard and Claude, being 17 when the game starts and 23 at the end, though his birthday is in the winter, on December 20. Dimitri is one of the taller characters in the game, being 5 feet, 10 inches when the game starts, and then actually growing to 6 feet, 2 inches after the time skip, fueled by nothing but pure rage to get those four extra inches.
3 Rhea
Archbishop Rhea is one of the protagonists or antagonists of the game, depending on how you look at her and the church. Either way, she’s a major player in every route, and spurs many of the game’s events into motion.
Rhea’s birthday is on January 11, and she’s literally thousands of years old because she’s actually just a dragon. She’s 5 feet, 8 inches in her human form, probably like 20 feet in her dragon form, and 36 feet, 3 inches if we include her ridiculous hat in the measurements.
2 Jeralt
Jeralt is Byleth’s father in the game, despite sharing literally no similarities or personality traits with them whatsoever. They also have a seemingly distant relationship, so that’s nice. Anyway, you’re here for the stats on this daddy, not the backstory.
Jeralt stands at 6 feet even, and get ready for this doozy, we don’t know his birthday. Crazy, right? On the more boring side of things, Jeralt is somewhere over the age of 120 because he got a transfusion of Crest-bearing blood that extended his life. Yeah, that’s a real fact that is actually true. Literally what?
1 Seteth
The final character we’ll be covering is Seteth, the personal aide of Rhea and another character who has a fantastic skincare regimen that needs to be leaked. Literally, how does he do it?
If you haven’t guessed yet, Seteth is also much older than he appears, as he is Saint Cichol, a child of the goddess. So, his age is as good as anyone’s guess, but it is probably somewhere close to Rhea’s, whose we also don’t know. Other than that, his birthday is December 27, and he stands just shy of 6 feet.
