First 4 Figures has posted a first look at its Pac-Man 7” PVC painted statue that’s been marked as coming soon. The statue was created to celebrate Pac-Man’s 40th anniversary.
The statue is currently in production however the company wanted to announce it within the classic arcade game’s 40th year. The statue is based on the official 3D render image of the eponymous character that still retains the classic 2D art style. Included with the 7” tribute is a black backdrop to compliment Pac’s iconic yellow head and an unspecified light source that could suggest that the head will be illuminated in some way. The statue is also mounted onto a black pole that is discreet enough to make the head appear as is if it were floating.
A lot of retro game collectors and gamers of the Pac-Man series are excited to welcome this stunning piece into their display collection. The 40th anniversary statue is the second release from First 4 Figures for the arcade series with the first being a full body version of the titular character that stood at 17 inches tall. Released in 2016 the statue resembled the classic art featured on many of the Pac-Man arcade cabinets and the console box art. The 2016 statue retailed at $179.99 however there has been no word on what the new statue will cost.

Established in 2003, the company was a relative success in selling high quality resin collectibles that included busts, replica props and diorama statues. In 2006, First 4 Figures signed an agreement with Nintendo in order for the company to produce merchandise for Nintendo titles including The Legend of Zelda. All of the regular and exclusive products from the company come with a Certificate of Authenticity that allows the customer to buy the next statues in the same series with the same product number. Therefore, if you’re a lucky number seven fan, you’ll be able to reserve the #7 for every Pac-Man release in that series.
