Audiences have seen a fair amount of the PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller but only in an official capacity. As with any new gadget about to hit the market, people are always looking to see more. That desire has recently been fulfilled–albeit partially–as a DualSense controller has been spotted in the wild and an image of it was quickly posted to the Internet.

The newest PS5 controller can now be seen from an all-new perspective thanks to an image posted to ResetEra by user Lant_War, who credits Gamer17 as their source. Other users commented on how they would like to see the back of the controller, but the responses to the image are largely about its size, which many see as bigger than originally thought. This might be due to the angle, but unfortunately, without more shots from other angles, there isn’t a way to be sure.

While the world’s first look at Sony’s newest console was only a month ago, the accompanying DualSense controller was revealed earlier. Since then, people have been analyzing it exhaustively for anything they can glean. Aside from the obvious aesthetic changes, some of the additional details deserve a closer look. For instance, it was discovered that the grip texture on the controller is actually made up of tiny, repeating patterns of the four PlayStation symbols. Another aspect of the controller is its touchpad, which is an interesting choice given how little it was utilized by the end of the previous controller’s lifespan. This has some pondering the relevance of the DualSense’s touchpad, with some assuming it will be given new life with additional features.

If the controller does end up being on the chunky side, as this most recent image seems to indicate, it would certainly match the PS5, which is perhaps the largest console ever made. It is certainly the largest PlayStation console so far. After the official PlayStation 5 reveal last month, audiences were amazed at the drastic design change but also noted its towering size. This hasn’t curbed interest in the console, though. There is a lot more people want to know about the PlayStation 5, with the most important being its price.

The price tag of Sony’s newest console was noticeably missing from the presentation, leaving speculation to run rampant. Leaks have surfaced that show the price sitting at around $500, but nothing official has been released yet. All will be known soon, however, as it is predicted Sony will finally reveal the price within the next couple of months. Despite the world not knowing how much the console will cost, analysts are already predicting the PS5 will outsell Xbox Series X, and by a large amount. Time will tell.
