Five Dates is getting an iOS port on Valentine’s Day, Wales Interactive today announced. The popular FMV game follows Vinny as he tries to find love during the pandemic – and is a perfect fit for February 14.

This isn’t the first Wales Interactive title to find its way to mobile devices, as last year it brought The Complex to both iOS and Android. Much like Five Dates, The Complex was an FMV game, meaning the framework is there for an excellent mobile port. However, right now there don’t seem to be any plans to bring Five Dates to the Google Play Store. For now, the modern dating simulator will remain an App Store exclusive.

“During these trying times, we are really excited to be collaborating with Good Gate Media to bring a modern British rom-com to mobile, PC, and consoles," said Richard Pring, Executive Producer at Wales Interactive. “Building on our extensive experience of interactive movies and video game development, we’re proud to be introducing FMV to a brand-new genre! We’re once again using our WIST scripting tool, bringing choice-based mechanics alongside our signature relationship-tracking system — this coupled with a diverse cast and top talent in acting, promises to be a unique and exciting experience for all to enjoy.”

Five Dates will be available for iOS on February 14. You can also find it on Steam, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
