Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted has infiltrated the Nintendo eshop and is coming to the Switch. The 7th installment of the Five Nights at Freddy’s series has a total of 40 playable mini-games which are just as frightening as the main series. And best of all scenes from the classic titles have been recreated for the VR experience. A non-VR mode for those without virtual reality equipment is also available.

Just the Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted trailer alone is enough to get the heart pounding. Undoubtedly the Nintendo Switch’s advanced HD rumble function will only make the real game that much more immersive and terrifying.

On starting the game, Freddy Fazbear greets the player from a virtual touchscreen and encourages them to “pick one of the frightening experiences available.” Right away players will be shrieking as they attempt to balance their time between repairing air ducts and diagnosing homicidal animatronics before they wake up and come after them. Playing and completing the challenges will unlock other stories and game modes. As if that weren’t enough to sweeten the pot, there are prizes, toys, virtual candy, and other unlockables to be had if players collect enough Faz-Tokens hidden everywhere.

Freddy Fazbear assures players, “Despite the temporary horror you may experience, this is a completely controlled environment, and you aren’t in any real danger. (Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for real danger.)”

Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted is available now for the PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
