Ford has spent a lot of money developing the EcoBoost engine, and it shows in the way it performs and the fun you can have with it. The downside of that is the firm has to charge a decent sum to recover its investment, which makes cars with this engine significantly more expensive. But it’s utterly brilliant, both in terms of style and performance and we think it’s unbeaten in its class for overall performance, looks and equipment
