Season 6 is in full swing for the massively popular Battle Royale mode of Fortnite, and seeing as it’s now October, Epic Games has begun to really embrace the Halloween spirit. Along with the evolving werewolf skin and new spooky locations on the map, players noticed that decorations started appearing in the world, including large spiders, cobwebs, and jack-o-lanterns. There’s a lot more to come with this theme, however, as a highly rumored skin inspired by the Halloween season is finally available within the store.

As part of the Lightning & Thunderstorms gear set, players who visit the Fortnite in-game store can pick up the Dark Bomber character skin, which appears to be the evil/corrupted version of the Brite Bomber skin. With glowing purple eyes, the skin also comes with glowing runes across her body as well as a new chest armor design that looks to be some sort of llama style dragon. The better news on this skin is its price, as it’s listed as a rare skin which puts the price at only 1,200 V-bucks, which is quite a deal when compared to some of the other unique skins available in the game.

Dark Bomber isn’t the only addition, however. The recent leaked items list appears to be true, as the Lightning & Thunderstorm set also features an epic level harvesting tool known as Thunder Crash that features an angry looking black and red pegasus head and costs just as much as the Dark Bomber skin. Her glider is a common level item for 500 V-bucks and isn’t quite as unique looking as the other pieces in the set. It’s a basic looking glider that has rune markings all over it.

Season 6 has certainly taken a dark turn, featuring new spooky locations on the map as well as new items called Shadow Stones that can be gathered within corrupted zones. Along with recent leaks featuring evil-looking scarecrow skins, fans have begun speculating that the popular Skull Trooper skin will also be making a comeback after being featured within the season 6 trailer.

Not only that, but the Dark Bomber skin has also kicked off community discussions surrounding the idea of other past skins getting the dark style treatment with this season as well. It’s likely that this is only the start of interesting things to come in Fortnite over the next few weeks leading up to Halloween.

Fortnite is available now in early access for iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. An Android beta is underway.
