There’s a Fortnite glitch that allows players to instantly revive teammates, but getting the timing right is key and tricky to nail.

Reviving people would have felt like a wild concept to introduce to the battle royale genre at first. The whole point of BR is that a player only has one chance to win. That might have been the case a couple of years ago, but no longer. There are various modes across multiple BR games where reviving is a key component of every match.

Reviving comes at a cost, though. In Warzone, bringing players back from the dead and Apex Legends, players will need a card to replenish their Squad’s numbers. Not if that player has only been knocked and not eliminated, of course. However, even then, reviving a teammate takes time. Time during which an enemy can swoop in to finish the job and take out another teammate in the process.

In Fortnite, it takes ten seconds to revive a knocked teammate. That might not sound like a long time, but when the enemies who knocked the player in the first place are closing in, ten seconds is an eternity. YouTuber OrangeGuy appears to have discovered a way around that. A way to revive a knocked teammate in Fortnite instantly. It’s not an easy technique to master, though.

As can be seen in the video above, the healthy player will need to position their crosshair just above the knocked player’s back bling. Apparently the technique works without a back bling equipped, but it is easier to do when a pet-themed one is in play. When positioned in the exact right spot, the option to start the revival will keep disappearing and reappearing.

It’s a very tricky technique to master, and one that if a player gets wrong even once during an actual match is probably not worth doing. By that point, it will have likely been more than ten seconds so a regular revive might as well have been attempted. For players who get the timing right though, it could be a game-changing glitch, but possibly one Epic decides to patch once it gets wind of the loophole.
