Like last year, Fortnite developer Epic Games seems to have big plans in store for the game’s Halloween event. Dubbed Fortnitemares, the spooky spectacle should be arriving to the game soon, as the special Fortnite event has already seen its skins leaked online.

While Marvel fans may have their eye on Fortnite’s new Daredevil skin, the Halloween lineup of costumes is sure to excite players who want something a bit scarier. Leaked by ShiinaBR, a reputable source for early info on Fortnite in the past, four skin bundles have been discovered in the item shop of Fortnite. While one of the packs is the Daredevil bundle, the other 3 packs are clearly designed around Fortnitemares concepts.

Based on reactions to the images and video of the skins posted by the leaker, the most popular of the skins joining the game with the next update seems to be Gnash. The character will be getting a special cursed version as well, adding a creepy voodoo doll head to an already haunting design.

Other skins included in the leak include a ghastly version of the popular bomber skin and the cool masked character Violet. With plenty of Halloween skins to dress up in, Fortnite fans should have plenty of style options when encountering the leaked Fortnitemares NPCs upon their arrival. With skins like Cursed Gnash, Midas is sure to be shaking in his boots when the Halloween season comes to the popular battle royale.

While there are a fair bit of costumes being added in the next update, there could easily still be more outfits added to Fortnite around Halloween. Epic Games supposedly has a skin for Spider-Man villain Venom ready to go according to leakers, a character that would certainly go well with the Fortnitemares theme. Beyond that, Ghost Rider is supposedly being dropped into the Fortnite universe as well, and it is hard to think of a better time than Halloween for the Marvel character to become available.

Epic Games seems ready to go for Fortnitemares, so fans may want to complete the challenge for destroying cobwebs in Fortnite’s Authority area quickly. Before long, players will be dressed up as La Parka and roaming the map to face off with NPCs like Midas.

Fortnite is available now on the Epic Games Store, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are currently in development.
