Fortnite’s Avengers Endgame crossover event is currently underway, with players completing a variety of tasks to unlock unique items such as the Quinjet Glider. As part of this event, developer Epic Games is also adding skins based on a variety of characters in promotion of the new movie, with the first released skin being Black Widow. Now, it seems she will be replaced by none other than the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Star-Lord.

Star-Lord was originally leaked by the popular skin-tracking site, Skin Tracker, and is rumored to release on April 30 in Fortnite’s in-game Item Shop. He can be purchased with a unique Back Bling, a harvesting tool known as the Guardian Axe, and a new Dance Off emote. The latter is likely a reference to his first appearance in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy where his dance off with the antagonist proves vital to the overarching plot.

If this Avengers Endgame Star-Lord skin does, in fact, release on April 30, that means there are only a few hours left to purchase the Fortnite Black Widow skin. Similar to Star-Lord, she comes with a unique back bling and can be purchased with a harvesting tool known as the Widow’s Bite and a new emote known as the Widow’s Pirouette. Purchasing everything that comes with Black Widow will set players back 2,500 V-bucks, so it seems likely that Star-Lord will be similar.

At the moment, it’s uncertain how long this promotional run of Avengers Endgame skins will last or who all it’ll feature, but given the popularity of Fortnite and the MCU, combining the two seems like an incredibly smart move. It also fits the aesthetic of the Endgame LTM perfectly and will likely prove to be popular skins in the long run.

Speaking of the Endgame LTM, there are quite a few video games MCU fans should play after watching Avengers Endgame, and because of this crossover, Fortnite makes the list. How much further this Endgame event goes remains to be seen, but Fortnite fans and MCU fans are certainly enjoying it.

Fortnite is out now for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
