Fortnite How To Break Into The Authority S Vault With A Choppa

A YouTuber has discovered a way to get inside the vault at The Authority without the need for a keycard. Here’s how to do it.

Chapter 2 of Fortnite brought a lot of new POIs and features along with it. One of those additions included vaults. Locked rooms dotted around the map that contain a lot of worthwhile loot. It’s not as simple as strolling up to the vault door and popping in for what lies inside, however, far from it.

Players need to defeat an AI boss and his or her henchmen to get the keycard for the various vaults. Kit holds the keycard to the Catty Corner vault, Jules has the keycard for The Authority’s vault, and so on. However, the appropriately named YouTuber Glitch King has discovered a way into The Authority’s vault without having to get a keycard from Jules.

In order to get inside the vault without a keycard, players will need a Choppa, an Upgrade Bench, and a friend to help them. Head to the southeast corner of The Authority and destroy the hedge-topped feature that can be found there, as well as the floor nearby. Anyone confused by these instructions can watch Glitch King performing the workaround in the video below.

Once the feature and the floor tile has been removed, players will need to land a Choppa right in front of it. Once landed, hop to the other side of the Choppa and build around it. This is where that much-needed friend comes in. They will need to set up the Upgrade Bench behind the Choppa on top of where the tile was removed. As that happens, you should glitch into the vault below.

At that point, the player who glitched into the vault can help themselves to all of the precious loot inside. Once that’s done, there’s a problem. That player can’t get out of the vault until someone opens the door. On the bright side, the vault player will be so heavily armed and take the incoming player by surprise, that they should take them out easily and can then escape. On the downside, no one might come, which means the trapped player will succumb to the storm if and when it eventually arrives.
