Fortnite’s next secret challenge has been revealed, this time called “No Right to Bear Arms.” The gnomes and bears are at it again, and this time players are going to need to intervene before the conflict between the two factions comes to an unbearable climax.
For those players that haven’t been keeping up with the secret challenges in Fortnite, they are short and often silly missions, many of which this season have involved an ongoing conflict between teddy bears and garden gnomes. Completing these missions awards the player with a hefty amount of experience, in this case 15,000 XP.
Luckily for players, completing this quest is extremely easy, so long as the player knows where to look. All the player must do is find the site where the battle is to occur and disarm both sides of the conflict, thereby preserving peace among bears and gnomes.
Fortnite - Where to Find the Gnome-Bear battle
The map coordinates are D5, and is located at the eastern edge of the Weeping Woods. The player should attempt to drop in this area, although it is important to be weary of other players attempting the same secret challenge, and begin looking for the battlefield. It should be relatively easy to spot, as there will be a line of gnomes with a cannon and a line of teddy bears armed to the teeth as well. Thankfully, finding these guys is the hard part, as stopping a war has never been so easy.
After locating the battlefield, the player will need to disarm both sides. To do so, simply approach the cannon on the Gnome’s side of the battlefield and interact with it to dismantle it. After this, take a short hike over to the Bears’ side and do the same to their weapon. Should the player successfully find the battle and disarm both sides, they will then complete “No Right to Bear Arms” and gain the reward of 15,000 experience points. This should do nicely in helping players level up their Battle Passes even further.
Keep an eye out for other Fortnite secret quests, as there are more reportedly on the way. Now that the player has stopped the battle between these two factions, they may soon need to “Celebrate the Truce” by dancing in front of the generals of each army.
Fortnite is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
