Following a delay earlier this week, the video game developer Epic Games officially unveiled the Season 5 Week 9 challenges for its wildly successful free-to-play multiplayer survival shooter, Fortnite Battle Royale. One of the challenges tasks players with earning 150,000 points by doing tricks with the game’s modes of transportation, the Shopping Cart and All-Terrain Kart (ATK). While some may be adept with their vehicle handling skills, others might need a little help, so follow along to learn how to pull off stunts and earn some points.

As seen below in the video from the YouTuber and Fortnite fan known as “gattu”, a fast way to earn trick points in the ATK or with a Shopping Cart is to build a ramp to its maximum height, place a Bouncer Pad on top, and drive the vehicle up and off of the structure, which should earn around 50,000 points if landed properly. Another method to rack up points fast involves driving a Shopping Cart or ATK through a rift to fall from the sky as the point numbers multiply. Again, though, players run the risk of being eliminated if these techniques aren’t landed properly.

Should Fortnite players not wish to run the risk of being eliminated for falling from too far of a height in a Shopping Cart or ATK, there are always other ways to earn trick points, but they may not produce as many points as quickly as the methods detailed above do. Those who want to play it more safely would do well to travel to any of the high peaks in the map and ride a Shopping Cart all the way down the mountain. Try to go over the jumps, pull off some spins, and then hit a solid landing. Although it should take longer to complete the aforementioned challenge, at least there’s a reduced chance of dying.

After mastering the art of gaining trick points in Fortnite’s Shopping Cart and ATK, players will likely move on to tackling the rest of the challenges released for Season 5 Week 9 of the multiplayer sandbox shooter. Whether it’s finding all of the Stone Heads or locating the Shifty Shafts treasure map, there’s no doubt that plenty of Fortnite fans will be using their time in the game before Season 6 earning as much XP as possible in order to obtain the Norse-themed Tier 100 challenge skin, Ragnarok.

Fortnite is available now in early access for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
