Fortnite’s Week 9 challenges are here, and this time players are tasked with gassing up a car at Catty Corner. This serves a double purpose, as it acts both as a challenge and an introduction to the Fortnite’s recently added cars found throughout the map. As a challenge, though, it is pretty easy.

Fortnite added cars earlier this month, and fans have been enjoying the new feature so far. This challenge should help those that haven’t experimented with them yet further familiarize themselves. Like most challenges in the game, this one is pretty easy to complete so long as players know where to look.

With Fortnite season 3 nearing its end, players are no doubt looking for any chance they can get to nab some last minute experience for their battle passes, and this is a great source for that. Despite the relative ease of completing the challenge, there are some things players should keep in mind.

The first step to this is obviously finding a car or truck in Fortnite. This is actually incredibly easy, as they are abundantly scattered across the map. That said, it may be wise to find one near Catty Corner, as that will mean less driving will be involved. When picking a car, players should be sure to check that it isn’t locked by a yellow clamp and that its tires are not deflated from bullets. Furthermore, the vehicle will need to have enough gas to make it to Catty Corner, or at least to the nearest gas station.

After finding a car, players simply need to drive over to Catty Corner and gas it up. Thankfully, this should be incredibly easy as well as the location is marked on the map in large letters. As shown above, Catty Corner is located in the southeastern corner of the map, more specifically in sector G7. The challenge will complete automatically as soon as the player starts filling the tank, so they won’t be required to fill the tank to 100%. This is particularly useful if Catty Corner is full of other players that aren’t keen on letting people complete this challenge.

On that note, players should be extra careful while in and around Catty Corner this week. It is no doubt going to be a hot spot as players attempt to complete this challenge, which will make doing so that much more difficult. With any luck other players will be accommodating for those trying to complete the week 9 challenges.

Fortnite is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
