Fortbytes are Fortnite season 9’s new collectible puzzle pieces that will likely have some major implications later in the season, and more have been slowly added throughout the current season so far. The most recent is Fortbyte 41 and sees players take part in the Pizza Pit/Durr Burger brand competition that has taken place in Fortnite over the past few seasons.
To find Fortbyte 41, players will need to land in Neo Tilted and go into the Durr Burger restaurant. It practically cannot be missed, as it is the tallest building in the named location, and there is a giant hologram of the Durr Bugger mascot over the building. Before proceeding to the Fortbyte, though, Fortnite players will need to make sure they own and have equipped Pizza Pit’s Tomatohead mascot emoticon.
It’s simple enough, and most likely already have it. It is unlocked on Tier 3 of the Fortnite season 9 Battle Pass, so players will simply need to equip it to their emote wheel from their locker. With it equipped, players will just need to find it in the aforementioned location, perform the emote, search Fortbyte 41, and be on their merry way.
It’s worth mentioning that players will want to be quick about this. Not only is Neo Tilted normally a high-density area, but with the recent addition of Fortbyte 41, many Fortnite players will be trying to get it too. This means seeking the Fortbyte 41 within the next few days will put players directly into the path of fire. More casual or inexperienced players may want to wait a week or so before trying to pick it up.
There’s certainly plenty in the wildly popular battle royale title to keep players busy. For example, as part of the recent Michael Jordan event, Fortnite players have to find Jonesy to unlock new cosmetics and complete the event’s challenges. However players choose to spend their time, season 9 moves ever forward with constant updates and content changes.
Fortnite is out now in early access for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
