Fortnite players can get the Afterparty Wrap for free right now, but they’ll need to act fast as it won’t be around for long.

Anyone who thinks interest in Fortnite is dwindling might want to check out the number of people who attended their last few in-game events. Millions of players log-in to watch concerts and happenings on Fortnite Island, and millions more watch the action unfold live on YouTube and Twitch. This weekend, that is likely to happen again.

Diplo Presents: Higher Ground is an in-game concert taking place later today (Friday, July 31, 2020) at 2 pm ET. The concert will take place on stage on the Party Royale island. The whole reason that island was created is so events like this one can take place without the regular battle royale action being interrupted for those who have no interest in the concert.

Whether players attend the concert or not, there’s a free gift up for grabs in conjunction with it this weekend. The rather striking Afterparty Wrap. A pretty distracting item to wrap around your weapons and vehicles, but some players like to attract attention. Best of all, in order to get your hands on the wrap and keep it forever, all players need to do is log-in at the right time.

The log-in window to claim the Afterparty Wrap has already begun, it’s when the window closes that’s the issue. Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 8 pm. All players need to do is log-in between now and then and the Afterparty Wrap will be unlocked. Fail to log-in during that time and the wrap will be gone forever. Well, maybe not forever, as Epic may well add it to the Fortnite store at a later date.

As for the concert, anyone who misses it tonight, or wants to watch it for a second time, it will air again at 9 pm ET on Monday, August 3, 2020. It will be interesting to see how many people tune in to watch will effectively be a rerun. As for tonight’s show, we’re fully expecting it to be a packed house. Beating the 12.3 million people who logged in for Travis Scott’s first Fortnite concert will take some doing on Diplo’s part, though.
