One of Fortnite’s new Storm The Agency challenges requires players to open faction-locked chests. Here’s where to find them and how to get it done.
This season of Fortnite will soon come to a close. Although Season 3 was recently delayed, it is still slated to kick off next month — unless Epic Games decides to push it back yet again.
Before the season comes to an end, there are more challenges to get done, even for players who have stayed on top of that type of thing. The Storm the Agency challenges are now live and in keeping with typical Fortnite challenge sets, some are easy to complete and others — well, not so much.
Opening faction-locked chests at three different spy bases is one of the challenges that won’t come easy. That’s because it requires know-how of the Fortnite map, and also some added steps not needed when finding and opening a regular old chest. On the bright side, unlike the safe houses challenge, Fortnite’s spy bases are named locations: The Yacht, The Rig, and The Grotto.
Once at one of the Spy Bases, players will need to track down a faction-locked chest. There should be more than one of them at each base, but they won’t just open on command. Players will first need to step inside of a phonebox and don a disguise. Then when they approach and interact with a faction-locked chest, it should open and the loot inside will pour out.
Feel free to open as many chests as possible, but only the first one will count towards the challenge’s completion. To get the challenge done, chests will need to be opened at three different spy bases. It can be done in one round, but due to the distance between each base, it’s more likely it will take at least three rounds to get this done. Once complete, players can return to waiting for the imminent arrival of Season 3.
