Fortnite’s Update 5.3 has arrived, and it has brought a bunch of fresh features to the wildly successful multiplayer sandbox survival title, such as the Rift-To-Go item, the Limited Time Mode known as Score Royale, and a replacement for Tomato Town called Tomato Temple. In addition to these features, Epic Games has also decided to now offer a reward to any player who decides to enable two-factor authentication with their accounts.

As seen in the image below, enabling two-factor authentication not only protects one’s account with Epic Games, but also doing so will net Fortnite players the rather popular Boogie Down emote at no cost to the user at all. Epic doesn’t provide a time frame as to how long this offer will be available, so for those who have yet to nab the emote, today would be a good time to enable two-factor authentication.

For those unaware, the Boogie Down emote was originally created following a contest that was launched by Epic earlier this year, with the studio having asked fans to send in footage of their unique dances to make it into Fortnite. While the current Boogie Down moves are enjoyed by a plethora of the hybrid construction shooter’s player base, but many believed the entry from the entrant affectionately nicknamed “Orange Shirt Kid” was the true winner of the competition, which led to Epic adding his dance to the title, too, calling it Orange Justice.

Taking all of this into consideration, it will be interesting to see if the free offer of the Boogie Down emote will be enough to rouse the majority of Fortnite players to enable two-factor authentication, as the actual threat of having their accounts compromised with fraudulent charges apparently hasn’t done the trick. Should the initiative succeed, then perhaps Epic will seek to add even more incentive-based strategies in the future to further guide players into securing their accounts.

Fortnite is available now in early access for iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with an Android beta currently underway.
