After a long cycle of leaks and teases, Fortnite’s Travis Scott concert lived up to its hype, allowing players to watch the rapper perform live with some pretty outrageous effects, or at least as live as one can get in the confines of a video game.
The concert was pretty incredible, featuring some mind-bending alterations to the stage as the concert pressed on. It was one of Fortnite’s more interesting spectacles thus far, which says a lot considering the Fortnite’s partnership with Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker a few months back.
This isn’t the first time that Fortnite has put on a live concert. Previously, Fortnite ran a concert for Marshmello, a popular internet DJ. There will likely be more shows in the future, too. The event has ended now, at least for the time being, though there will be more showings in the future for those that want to see it live. Those that don’t care can simply watch a video of the concert, and get the same experience, for the most part.
Fortnite has had some strange crossovers, and hopefully, the game will continue that trend into the future. Until then, at least players have the Travis Scott concert to enjoy.
