Hopefully players have wrapped up the Week 7 challenges, because it’s that time again, Fortnite fans. The Season 5 Week 8 challenges have been revealed, which means that players can start planning their strategies for how to accomplish each of the varying tasks in the coming week. Week 8 adds three new free challenges and four Battle Pass challenges for players to complete, and while some of them are fairly straightforward, a few may give players some trouble.
The challenges for Week 8 offer a good variety in tasks and difficulty and should keep the community plenty busy as we anxiously await for more details about the appearance of the mystery cube.

The Fortnite community on Reddit has already been quick to point out that that Place Traps free challenge is sure to make every map a minefield of obstacles to avoid for players simply trying to score that chicken dinner. The hardest part of that challenge may be just finding traps to loot with everyone hunting them down.
As always, the challenges vary in difficulty, but overall this week doesn’t look too terrible for the completionists out there. Collecting the treasure is likely to be the hardest box to check off, but the above map should be able to point players in the right direction.
