Despite recent legal actions against successful leakers, the forthcoming Fortnite season 7 week 8 challenges have been data mined nonetheless. This gives players of the wildly popular a glimpse into the challenges for Thursday, and given that we are nearing the end of the season, many will likely want to do everything they can to prepare.
After all, many are still pining for the highly-coveted Tier 100 Ice King skin, which is definitely befitting considering recent changes to the Fortnite battle island. Luckily, these challenges follow similar patterns to previous weeks, meaning that they shouldn’t be hard to complete prior to the end of the season.
Free Challenges
- Build X structures Deal X damage while in the passenger seat of a vehicle Eliminate X opponents with an explosive weapon
Battle Pass Challenges
- Search X Chests in Shifty Shafts or Lonely Lodge Search between a mysterious hatch, a giant rock lady, and a precarious flatbed Use a Cozy Campfire or Launch Pad Stage 1: Visit Paradise Palms and Salty Springs in a single match Stage 2: Visit Junk Junction and Loot Lake in a single match Final Stage: Visit Haunted Hills and Wailing Woods in a single match
Building off of previous challenges, it seems like the explosive weapon challenge will likely require 3 kills, whereas the chest-searching challenge will mandate 7 chests. Of course, Epic Games could completely change course by the time these Fortnite challenges go live, but at this point, it seems doubtful. This is a good thing because it seems like an easy week to wrap up, with players also focusing on the Ice Storm challenges and amassing Ice Fiend kills.
- Stage 2: Visit Junk Junction and Loot Lake in a single match Final Stage: Visit Haunted Hills and Wailing Woods in a single match
Taking everything into consideration, it’s nice to see all the support the battle royale title receives. Beyond this latest event and the weekly challenges, Fortnite has received a new item that takes the role of the bush in wintry weather. Although the bush is an in-game stealth item that is seldom used anymore, the Sneaky Snowman seems like an improvement on that formula, though time will tell if it proves to be more popular than its predecessor.
Fortnite is out now in early access for Androids, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
