We’re one day closer to the end of Fortnite’s season 3, and no one is keeping better track of the countdown than Epic Games themselves. Over the past few days, they’ve been steadily dropping hints for what’s to come and while it was unclear what their hints could mean, it’s apparent now that they’re prepping for a big unveil once Fortnite’s Season 4 comes around.

The newest info regarding season 4 comes from Epic Games’ official Twitter, which previously tweeted an image of a comet with a masked hero within it. Since then, the roster has grown and now includes four skins overall. Unlike the first two characters, which resemble legitimate heroes, the recent additions seem like they could swing either way on the hero and villain spectrum.

As the date moves closer, the amount of space available on the comet decreases. The recent additions consist of a man, who’s demeanor is very stern and displeased, and a woman wearing a large gem, potentially as part of her armor.  Considering that Season 4 may have a superhero theme, its not far fetched to think that the gem is a special artifact, as many comic book heroes gain their powers via mystical trinkets.

Notably, there is a small section of the comet that is yet to be fleshed out, and although it is a very small portion of the image Epic may try to squeeze in another hero during their count down. The inclusion of the new characters suggests that this season’s battle pass will feature these upcoming skins. Even if they are not heroes, Epic is at least preparing a great deal and full reveals may come soon.

Also, dataminers have done an excellent job of keeping an eye out for potential skins that appear in the game’s patches, including the recent Steelsight character. Since full images haven’t turned up from any recent sources, its clear that Epic Games is keeping a tight lid on next season’s cosmetics.

Overall, fans should keep an eye out on Fortnite’s official twitter as the dwindling room means that Epic might change it up soon, and we’ll see more than partial faces in the comet before long.

Fortnite is available now for iOS, PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
