The week 7 challenges are underway for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2, and players will be all over the map to complete these challenges. After finding all of those Fortnite campsites and visiting the other locations, players will also have to hunt down some Spy Base hideouts to grab some treasure.
The Chests in Spy Bases
This week’s Fortnite challenges include one to find Spy Bases and search chests inside of these locations. Players have to do this seven times to complete this and gain the 40,000XP from it, but players don’t have to do all seven in one match. Also, it helps that there are several locations players can find these chests, so it should be a pretty easy one to complete.
Locations of the Bases
There are a grand total of five locations, and each base should have at least one chest to search if not more. These are pretty spread out across the map, so if players are looking to hit more than one location, they might need the Choppa vehicle to give them a speed boost.
- Pleasant Park (this one has actually been around for awhile; it was added during the 12.20 update and it’s now the 12.21 update) A little north of Holly Hedges North of Misty Meadows To the east of Frenzy Farm East of Craggy Cliff

Finding these Spy Locations and grabbing loot from each matches up with the Spy theme of the Season this far, including the spy profiles and the henchmen players can scan. It’s an interesting theme for the upcoming weeks, along with the Deadpool skins and themes for Battle Pass users.
In spite of the theming and updates that Fortnite has seen over the last few months, it still looks like interest in Fortnite is starting to waver as more and more Battle Royale games are flooding the market. Maybe if Epic Games made more changes to the game, like perhaps adding a CoD-style Gulag, it might bring more players back.
