Fortnite has been introducing new content to shake things up for its player base. With Party Royale Mode introduced earlier this year, gamers got to see a new side to the Epic Games creation without weapons and building materials players typically associate with it. Now, Fortnite is introducing an exclusive premier to the game’s screens.
With the new Party Royale Mode that players can visit in Fortnite, there are various different films, documentaries and other types of entertainment that have been shown through the platform. From a concert put on by Diplo to hosting a We The People US voting informational conversation, players have had a variety of content presented to them. With a new partnership announced, players have a new show to look forward to as well.
Fortnite took to Twitter to announce the newest addition to the viewing lineup of Party Royale Mode. According to the tweet, players will be able to watch an exclusive early premiere Tiger Shark King. The episode, which is a part of Shark Week series on the Discovery, will premiere August 10 at 2 PM ET on the Party Royale Mode’s Big Screen. Shark Week will be launching on the Discovery Channel starting August 9, but this specific episode will be shown on the Fortnite screen before anywhere else. With the Fortnite map having flooded last month, players may find the choice of show a little on the nose, but hopefully they will be able to enjoy this exclusive showing inside the game.
Along with this showing, Fortnite players can also look forward to other screenings as well. Starting this Saturday, players will be able to watch an ESPN: 8: The Ocho marathon which will showcase sports outside of the mainstream. On Friday, Japanese musician Kenshi Yonezu will be performing on the Fortnite game mode as well. The number of screenings in the Party Royale Mode continue to grow as Epic Games provides various types of entertainment for the game’s relaxing side, away from the intensity of the battle royale.
Party Royale Mode has added an interesting side to the Fortnite game and has introduced a plethora of educational and entertaining content to the platform. With such a variety of entertainment that is coming to the game, it is curious to imagine what will be announced next for Party Royale Mode. Players will just have to what and see what Epic Games will bring to this mode of Fortnite in the future.
Fortnite is free-to-play on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions in development.
