It’s another week in Fortnite Battle Royale, which means that Season 7 Week 3’s challenges are now live to be tackled by all players of the wildly successful multiplayer sandbox survival shooter. There are plenty of tasks to complete, and in order to help fans on their quest to tick off each and every feat on the list, we’ve decided to create a dedicated guide to finding doorbells in order to finish the challenge of ringing two doorbells in different Named Locations during the course of a single match.

While finishing this particular ding-dong ditch challenge might come easy to some Fortnite fans, the trek in between locations could prove to be much more difficult for those who may not be as familiar with the Battle Royale mode’s map. After all, not every Named Location on the map will have doorbells to ring, so players would do well to know that there are different homes and houses in Snobby Shores, Pleasant Park, Salty Springs, Fatal Fields, Retail Row, Paradise Palms, Wailing Woods, and Lonely Lodge that feature them.

Unfortunately, save for Snobby Shores, there aren’t a glut of doorbells to ring in Fortnite’s new winter biome. While Happy Hamlet features a plethora of different buildings, there doesn’t appear to be any actual houses in the area that have doorbells. At any rate, it looks as if the fastest way to finish this challenge will be to sprint between Salty Springs and Fatal Fields.

For those unaware, the doorbell ringing challenge for Season 7 Week 3 is a variation of a task that showed up during a previous content cycle in Fortnite Battle Royale. As it so happens, the original one from Season 6 required players to ring doorbells when there was an opponent inside. Naturally, the situation was designed to turn hairy, as it created the potential for an enemy to come rushing outside the moment the doorbell was rung.

Thankfully, Epic Games decided to make this challenge for Season 7 Week 3 a little bit easier this time around. This is ultimately due to the fact that it’s not guaranteed an opponent will actually be inside a house once a player approaches it.

Fortnite is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
