To celebrate the holidays, Epic Games is running a series of special challenges in the battle royale portion of Fortnite called the 14 Days of Fortnite. Each day brings with it a new challenge and some exclusive items, with the reward for flying through five golden rings being one of the best rewards yet.

When Fortnite players manage to fly through five golden rings on the battle royale map, they are rewarded with some new back bling called the Combat Wreath. Most of the 14 Days of Fortnite rewards have been emoticons and things of that nature, so it’s nice to have a more substantial cosmetic item to earn. And luckily, completing the challenge to fly through five golden rings shouldn’t be all that hard or time-consuming.

The first step is to commandeer an airplane, which spawn in a number of places on the battle royale map. Perhaps the easiest way to get an airplane in Fortnite is to simply head over to Frosty Flights and grab one from the end of the runway. Even with hidden battle stars stashed inside its hangars, Frosty Flights rarely seems to be a high traffic area, and most of the time players should be able to land there and grab a plane without issue.

After getting a plane, the next thing players need to do is find five golden rings to fly through. This challenge doesn’t need to be completed in one match, though it certainly can be. There are at least 13 golden rings in the game world, and possibly even more, but all of the ones we’re aware of are marked on the map above.

As long as they don’t get into any dogfights, Fortnite fans shouldn’t have too much trouble finding five golden rings to fly through. After all, there are enough in both halves of the map, so players should be able to safely collect all the rings necessary without even having to worry about the storm or rushing to the circle.

Once they’re done flying through five golden rings, Fortnite players will be done with yet another one of the 14 Days of Fortnite challenges.

Fortnite is out now in early access for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
