It is now day 12 in the 14 days of Fortnite event, which tasks players with a new challenge each and every day. For example, day 1 tasked players with joining or making a creative server, whereas day 11 required players to thank the bus driver 11 times. For day 12, players are tasked with hunting down 12 snowflake decorations and shooting them.
Luckily enough, there are plenty across the map, usually found hanging from light poles, in windows, or attached to roofs. Fortnite players should know that these snowflake decorations will spawn in the following named locations:
- Lazy Links Lonely Lodge Retail Row Paradise Palms Fatal Fields Salty Springs Happy Hamlet Pleasant Park Tilted Towers
For players working through this challenge casually, any of the above locations will work over time. Just keep an eye out for the areas they tend to appear, but for those players who want to get this challenge down quickly and in one match, they will want to brave Pleasant Park or Tilted Towers. Both of these locations, as seen below, contain enough snowflake decorations to quickly finish up this challenge.
For those hunting down these snowflakes in Tilted Towers, we recommend this video by YouTuber HarryNinetyFour:
Hopefully, these tips and tricks help players finish up this challenge at whatever pace they wish, but they should know the days are counting down. So, if players have left any challenges to the wayside, they will want to hop on them quickly. For those players, we’ve also compiled this guide on how to complete all of the 14 days of Fortnite challenges.
All things considered, this event has been a great way to end a spectacular year. Thinking about all of the events and changes that Fortnite has undergone this year, it’ll be interesting to see what comes next, as season 7 is set to carry us into February 2019.
Fortnite is out now in early access for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
