For the Season 7 Week 4 challenges in Fortnite, there is a challenge to destroy specific items on the battle royale map. The first part of the challenge has players destroying chairs, whereas the second stage has players destroying wooden utility poles. The third and final part of the challenge tasks players with destroying 25 wooden palettes, but some may not know the best places to find them.

There are specific areas on the Fortnite battle royale map that tend to have more wooden pallets to destroy than others. The best named areas to check are Junk Junction and Tilted Towers, with the latter having plenty of wooden pallets throughout. The in-construction building at Tilted Towers is a good place to check, as is the square building smack-dab in the middle of town.

Besides Junk Junction and Tilted Towers, there are some other places Fortnite players may want to check out as they hunt down some wooden pallets to destroy. Dusty Diner, the building just north of Dusty Divot, typically has some wooden pallets, as does the shipping yard north of Retail Row and the junkyard south of Paradise Palms. In terms of actual named locations though, Junk Junction and Tilted Towers are still the best bets.

It’s technically possible to complete the “destroy wooden pallets” challenge in Fortnite in a single match, though that seems very unlikely. Other players are likely destroying wooden pallets as well, not to mention some areas on the map will likely be cut off by the storm. Because of this, players may just want to consistently land in Junk Junction or Tilted Towers until they’ve managed to destroy enough wooden pallets to complete the challenge.

Destroying wooden pallets is necessary to complete all of the Season 7 Week 4 challenges, but it’s something Fortnite players may want to consider doing in most of the games they’re in anyway. Wooden pallets are a great way to get wood in the game, which can be helpful for building. Building, as Fortnite players know, is crucial to surviving some firefights, and so it’s always helpful to have some extra building materials whenever possible.

Fortnite is out now in early access for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
