The current version of the Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay system (Wrath & Glory) has a new introductory adventure that everyone can download for free, which sets players with the task of exploring a necropolis.
The Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar franchises are best known for their tabletop miniature warfare games, but both have received tabletop games in the vein of Dungeons & Dragons. The current version of the 40K game is called Wrath & Glory, which deals more with small-scale encounters, exploration, and roleplaying, in comparison to the pitched battles of the miniature game. The 40K universe is vast and filled with countless opportunities for interesting campaigns.
Wrath & Glory is published by a company called Cubicle 7, which has released a free adventure called Graveyard Shift. The purpose of Graveyard Shift is to introduce players to the dark world of 40K, as well as giving them a basic adventure that will give them a chance to learn the rules of the system. The adventure sets players with the task of retrieving a xenotech artifact, as they fight through hordes of enemies.
