You’ll soon be able to see exactly how badly you sucked, or how great you were, after an  Overwatch match.

Blizzard has heard your calls for a full match replay feature and is about to give you exactly that. The feature will allow the revisiting of your last 10 matches from all game modes, bar Tutorial and Practice Range, and you’ll be able to view them from a first-person, third-person or overhead perspective.

It will also be possible to pause the footage, increase or decrease the speed of playback, see a map overlay, look at individual players and set bookmarks.

This new feature is only available on Overwatch’s Public Test Realm for now but will be added to consoles soon.

“Experience your past Overwatch games from a whole new perspective with the Replay feature, now available on the Overwatch Public Test Realm (PTR),” a statement on the official Overwatch website reads. “Replays allow you to watch your previous matches from any vantage point. Whether you want a first-person, third-person, or a bird’s-eye view, you can see it all with this tool.

“Hone your strategies by slowing down or speeding up the game to see exactly how a critical moment played out, or get a better view of the action from on high with or without the UI. The Replays feature is currently available on the PTR for PC only, but will be coming to consoles soon.”

Replays will only be around for the duration of a current patch and will be erased once a new patch goes live.

Overwatch has also provided several keyboard shortcuts to use with this feature and a full list can be accessed by “pressing Esc and selecting Options > Controls > Spectate.” The shortcuts are fully customizable too.

Replays will be accessed from the Player Profile under the Replays tab.

This feature should come in handy for players who want to revise strategies, see where they went wrong or simply improve the way they play the game. Others might not be as inclined to replay their embarrassing deaths, but it’s still a great option to have.
