It’s a new week, stuffed full of major video game news to be discussed on Game Rant Arcade Episode 8. This time around, Cameron and Anthony are talking about some major HBO The Last of Us news, E3’s future as a digital show, and some of the biggest new games they played.

Kicking things off, Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal have been cast for HBO’s The Last of Us series, with the duo slated to portray Ellie and Joel on-screen, respectively. It’s a surprising pair of castings, but also fitting ones. With Pedro Pascal still in the of The Mandolorian’s titular Mand0lorian, the actor should be able to show off what he’s learned from the action series in yet another adoptive father role.

That’s not all, of course. On top of the digital E3 news, a new Halo game might be in the works at 343 Industries, completely removed from Halo Infinite. There are no details just yet, but it seems likely the project will be along the lines of Halo: Reach or Halo: ODST.

CD Projekt was hacked this week, with the source code for both The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 being stolen. It’s not entirely clear what’s next for the developer, and it appears that the data breach may have contained HR information related to some employees. It’s an unfortunate scenario, and one that could have serious repercussions.
