It’s time to make room on the shelf, as Sony and Funko have announced a new line of exclusive vinyls from some of PlayStation’s greatest titles. These officially licensed pops, which are now available for preorder at Gamestop, are a must-have for gamers and collectors alike. There are four (technically five as one is a two pack) new Funkos to add to your collection .
First up is the debut of a Death Stranding Funko with a Sam Porter Bridges to collect. Modeled after the protagonist of the game, the Sam Porter Bridges Funko details Sam with his Odradek, signature strand, and adorable bridge baby or BB. Any fan of Death Stranding will appreciate the detail put into the vinyl figure. It is available for an $11.99 preorder and is expected to ship from Gamestop on September 3.
Another addition to the PlayStation and Funko family is the Sweet Tooth figure from Twisted Metal. The killer clown sits atop his famous ice cream truck and wields a knife ready to destroy the competition. This vinyl, part of Funko’s Pop:Rides collection, is available for preorder at $29.99 from Gamestop with an estimated ship date of October 5.
Next is an awesome double set of Ratchet and Clank from Ratchet & Clank. This two pack features the Lombax mechanic and his robot companion as depicted throughout the series. This is especially cool as the two heroes are gearing up to appear in the PlayStation 5 game Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. This set is up for preorder on Gamestop for $22.99 and is expected to ship out on October 5.
Finally, the last of the PlayStation exclusives announced from Funko is Joel from The Last of Us. This isn’t too much of a surprise, as Funko recently released an Ellie Funko to commemorate The Last of Us Part II. Though it is funny that we got the vinyl for the sequel before getting one for the original. The Joel figure is a great depiction of his video game counterpart as he is in his famous flannel shirt and wielding a dangerous shotgun. Also, a fun detail is the gas mask that sits affixed to his side. There is also blood splatter on his clothing highlighting the brutality of his world. Joel is available for preorder from Gamestop for $11.99 and is expected to ship on September 7.
