Min Min from ARMS has a noodle theme going on with her arms, which is reflected in her Final Smash attack in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
There was a lot of speculation as to which ARMS fighter would make it into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as Spring Man (the protagonist) was already in the game as an Assist Trophy. Masahiro Sakurai revealed that Min Min made the cut due to a request from the producer of ARMS. Sakurai also considered Ninjara for the role, but Min Min was clearly the better pick, especially as she’s such a fan favorite.
Min Min’s affinity for noodles is reflected in her Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Min Min’s Final Smash is called Arms Rush and it brings in the cast of ARMS to wail on the enemy with their fists. The enemy goes crashing into the symbol Min Min wears on her chest. According to the Gaming Detail Reddit page, the symbol that Min Min wears/the one used in her Final Smash is the simplified Chinese character for noodles.
The fighters in ARMS have massive retractable Arms that can be used to throw punches at great distances. The nature of these Arms differs from fighter to fighter, with Spring Man having spring-like Arms, Ribbon Girl having ribbon-like Arms, and Ninjara having chain-like Arms. Min Min’s Arms are themed around noodles, as they are shaped like ramen. In ARMS, it’s stated that Min Min became a fighter to promote her family’s ramen restaurant. Min Min’s hat is also shaped like a ramen bowl. Min Min’s reveal trailer was set inside her family’s ramen restaurant, where she is seen feeding Captain Falcon and Kirby. So, yeah, she likes noodles.
The Final Smash attacks in the Super Smash Bros. series have included some great moments of fan service, including bringing back all of the different versions of Mega Man for one massive blast or allowing Captain Falcon to crash his Blue Falcon into the enemy. Min Min is one of the few fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to speak another language in all versions of the game, so it makes sense to include a reference to her native tongue in her Final Smash.
