It’d be pointless to try and argue that remastered games from the past generation of consoles aren’t all the rage nowadays. While developing a new game form the ground up on current-gen hardware takes quite some time, developers are finding revenue from simply upgrading their existing software a little bit and releasing them on a new console. Microsoft is just one such company taking that same strategy, with the latest remastered blockbuster arriving in the form of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.

As a newly acquired property for Microsoft, turning around a quick profit following its major investment made a lot of sense. While everything from cutscenes to gameplay have been modified to give longtime fans of the franchise a more updated take on the original game in Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, there’s also the desire that some fans have to add points to their ever-growing Gamerscore.

Fortunately for those gamers, the house of Gates has announced the long list of achievements that can be earned in the remastered title. Totalling an impressive 1,250 points, players have quite a task ahead of them if they are hoping to gather every possible achievement featured in the game. With that said, given the fact that the game is a remake, many of the achievements will seem familiar to those that completed the initial Xbox 360 installment.

Take a look at the complete list of achievements for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition below:
