GeForce Now added several new features this week, including the ability to link your Fortnite account – meaning you’ll no longer have to enter credentials every time you jump into a match. The account-linking feature is only compatible with Fortnite, although GeForce Now is hoping to roll it out to other titles in the future.

When using GeForce Now on PC, macOS, or Chromebook, you can enable the feature from the new tile located in the My Library menu. From there, you’ll need to head to the Settings menu and turn on accounting linking for Fortnite in the Connections tab. Once activated you’ll no longer need to log in to your Epic Games account to play a few rounds of the battle royale.

Founders and Priority members will also notice a new preloading feature, which will load portions of your game before you arrive – cutting down on overall load times.

“Members testing this feature should see sessions launch up to a minute faster from the moment they click play in the GeForce Now app,” reads the announcement. “Free members are not guaranteed preloaded sessions and may see slightly longer startup times.”

Plenty of other updates were introduced to GeForce Now this week, including an in-game overlay when playing through Chrome, search bar improvements, and a better way to add games to your library.

A few weeks ago, Nvidia announced GeForce Now had surpassed 10 million members. Those numbers are likely due to the availability of a free membership tier – but are still nothing to scoff at. With hundreds of compatible games and a way to play them without needing a monthly subscription, GeForce Now is one of the more enticing streaming options on the market.

Meanwhile, another game streaming service – Google Stadia – continues to add new games to its catalog. Ten indie titles are expected to launch in the coming months, with a few others coming to Stadia Pro members for free. These include Hotline Miami 2, Trine 4, and Street Kids, with a fourth being announced sometime next week.
