Genshin Impact is a game full of many beautiful sights. The different regions take inspiration from real world locations and really help to set the tone for the games. There are some areas that players will want to visit as soon as possible for the sights while others are just unique to look at.
When starting the game for the first time, there are a ton of things going on. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed with all the different systems, characters, and events. In fact, just looking around, Mondstadt can captivate new players. Below are ten places that you should visit as soon as possible.
10 Beautiful Liyue Harbor
One of the best parts of the game is finding out there is a whole other region with a huge city called Liyue Harbor. Players should make their way to the city as soon as possible as there is a lot to do.
There are new foods to buy that can help out in battle and some great quests to check out. Liyue also contains a book store that can give players tons of extra lore about the world.
9 Intriguing Wangshu Inn
Wangshu Inn is located between Stone Gate and Liyue Harbor. Most players will pass by it on the way to the city. The inn is an interesting place surrounded by a marsh with tons of treasure.
Climbing to the top gives a great view of the surrounding area and can help show the player a new perspective. There are also several quests that will pop-up around the inn, and some daily requests will revolve around repairing it. It’s also an important location to Xiao, the last Yaksha.
8 Sleepy Qingce Village
Qingce Village is a small town located in the Qingce mountains. Around the town, there are tons of quests like the Chi of Gunyun. The village is also surrounded by manys flower fields containing Glaze Lilies. Players can also find lots of Jueyun peppers scattered about the village path.
This is a great place for pictures, doing extra quests, and ensuring that you can meet your battle pass collection goals. It’s also just a nice place to meander and enjoy the scenery.
7 Adepti-Home Jueyun Karst
Jueyun Karst is a large region in Liyue that is said to be the home of the adepti. This is where the player will spend a bit of time during the Liyue story chapter.
The region has tons of ruins and puzzles that will give out primogems and rewards. There is also a domain located in the area that can only be unlocked after draining a small lake.
6 Freezing Dragonspine
Dragonspine is a newer region in the game that forces the player to deal with an ever-increasing cold meter. Players shouldn’t be put off by this meter though as it’s actually pretty simple to deal with.
Dragonspine contains tons of unique quests and chests around every corner. The region also has unique puzzles that players won’t find in Liyue or the regular parts of Mondstadt.
5 Weapon-filled Sword Graveyard
The Sword Graveyard is a fun area that new players should go ahead and visit. The graveyard is filled with hilichurls and surrounded by several large camps.
It also contains tons of weapons that have been buried into the ground, leading to some great backdrops for pictures. Players can gain tons of treasure by clearing out the hilichurl camps and bringing down the area’s forcefield.
4 Challenging Wolvendom
Wolvendom is a small but unique area that is above the Dawn Winery. The forest is the only place you can find Wolfhook which is needed to level Razor. It also has several unique trees and contains an easy to access mining spot right down from one of the waypoints.
Once players complete Razor’s first story chapter, this is where the Wolf of The North Challenge will take place.
3 The Musk Reef Portal To The Abyss
Musk Reef is a small island that contains the teleporter for the Spiral Abyss. Players will want to unlock this island and have it ready to go for when they unlock the Abyss at level rank 20.
The island itself has a unique crescent shape and a few easy-to-grab chests for the player. It also has quite a few ore spread across it, making it an easy place to mine for those who don’t want to deal with enemies.
2 Thousand Wind Temple
The Thousand Wind Temple is a location that players will eventually be sent to in the story. This is an area containing a giant ruin where a Ruin Guard often spawns. That makes it a great farming location with a unique look.
For early game players, this Ruin Guard can help them obtain ascension materials easily. There is a small puzzle in the area, too, and the Thousand Wind Temple has already been used for a previous in-game event.
1 Springvale Hunting Village
Springvale is a small hunting village that is in between the city of Mondstadt and the Dawn Winery. The hunters in this town concentrate on hunting boars, however, a recent update made it so players could buy meat from the chief of the hunters: Draff.
Springvale is also an interesting place to visit for Diona fans as her family is located there and the village has plenty of spots to gather free vegetables.
