Genshin Impact is a fun game, that like most does some things that just won’t ever make sense to players. The world of Teyvat is huge, and for the most part, there are a lot of things happening inside of it. From the strange and possibly misunderstood Hilichurl tribes, to the mysteries Diluc, things in this peaceful world are not as they seem. While most gamers don’t think too hard about all the little things that make no sense, some of the community can’t help but to try and poke fun at some of the games sillier mechanics and story elements.
9 Round and Round We Go
Seelies are cute lost souls that need help finding their way back to their pedistal. This seems like a simple concept until players find out that they follow the seelies, and often times it seems like the strange creatures just want to make life hard for the poor traveler that’s trying to follow them.
Some Seelies will even go up and down rocks, or around in circles before they finally reach their pedestal.
8 Those Poor Knights
Other than Jean it seems like the Knights of Favonius are all used to simply completely puzzles in Teyvat, in fact, they are considered to be worse characters than even Noelle, who is still suppose to be working her way to be a knight, and Barbara who is mostly a healer.
For all the great tales about these knights, they don’t seem to be all that the residents of Mondstadt say they are.
7 How Does Anyone Sleep?
It is no secret that the world of teyvat is full of adventures clamoring to get items and test out their new characters. On top of that, certain mushrooms are hidden on top of the building as well as, chest encouraging players to climb around the city at all times of night trying to find them.
It’s a true mystery how anyone manages to get a goodnight’s sleep in the towns of Teyvat with everything going on.
6 Status Effects
This meme is so true that it probably hurts the players who have seen it. If a character’s foot barely touches the edge of water then they will get the hydro effect, which can make battling electro enemies a complete pain and cryo enemies nothing short of an annoying nightmare.
It’s amazing how little water it can take to get a character literally soaked when fighting on the battlefield.
5 Poor Qiqi
There are things that will never make since in games, like using a child to run a shop, where customers can’t even see them over a counter. To top that off, Qiqi is also a zombie, who can’t even remember the word coconut, which makes player doubt her ability to give the proper medicine.
At the very least though, Qiqi should at least be given a still to stand on to help her interact with customers.
4 Klee Is Concerning
Klee is the type of character who really should be watcher closer since she seems to enjoy blowing things up way to much. In fact, it’s a wonder that she has never been thrown in jail for her reckless use of explosives, and the fact that she pretty much cheats in battle by using dangerous weapons.
Many fans are conflicted over liking Klee and the meme above is one of the reasons why.
3 Poor Hilichurls
Most games don’t ever question the fact that you are wiping out camps of enemies. In Teyvat though, there are hilichurl quests about learning to peacefully communicate with the creatures, that show that with enough work an alliance could probably be made with them.
Even worse the lore books prove that they are a functioning society that seems to be slowly advancing. Some players even won’t hilichurls to be left in peace.
2 Building Bridges
The way that players are able to traverse water is a bit concerning in the game. For starters it appears that everyone must have a very low weight because all the characters can stand on thin ice without it breaking. In fact, they can even use a thin ice bridge to cross the ocean without a problem.
It’s a bit concerning that ice only seems to melt in the game, and it might even be possible that ice is as hard as diamonds since a whole team can cross a thin ice bridge.
1 Emergency Food?
The emergency food memes are hilarious, but the fact that so many people in the game are ok with Paimon possibly being eaten is disturbing. Despite being a small human, even possibly a child, no one bats an eye at her life being threatened. This makes the citizens of Teyvat look kind of bad.
In addition, it’s surprising that Paimon herself doesn’t get more offended at trying to be eaten, it’s almost like it may be common with her people.
