With Genshin Impact providing the unique service of celebrating each character’s birthday individually with items and surprises for fans, it was bound to create some favouritism among the players. Who knew it would be so soon after launch that the disparity would rear its ugly head.
While the two characters have a big gap in raw power, the big deal that was made of Keqing’s birthday in comparison to Sucrose’s was stunning. Being made even more clear by the 6 day gap between the dates, the preference has been established.

While Genshin Impact allows players to complete challenges and events without Resin, they don’t let the player to collect the reward at the end. The only reason players grind out those events is taken away, leaving most to stare into the distance until their Resin Energy is restored.

Sometimes, nothing beats a good pun, taking a seemingly serious moment and twisting it on its head. While this version of events would make for a much more interesting break in, trying to fight a sword wielding seal sounds near impossible.
Even though Venti’s specialty lies in his rhyming talents, puns could be a good character direction for future titles. Embracing the new age and embracing the meme is always a sure fire way to the top.
