Keqing is a popular character in Genshin Impact thanks to the fact that she is an electro five-star with the power to teleport short distances.

One of the things that makes Keqing so different from those around her is her forward-thinking ways. She isn’t much into traditions and doesn’t always see the need for formalities, which are custom when dealing with other merchants within Liyue.
Thanks to her strange disregard for tradition, many that are close to her have a hard time relating to her ideas.
8 Her Adeptus Views Are Different
When the Traveler first meets Keqing, they are a bit shocked at the way she speaks of the Adeptus. Unlike others in Liyue who still bow down to Rex Lapus, she believes that the time of humans have come and doesn’t wish to rely on the Gods as most other merchants do.
These views have slowly started to be accepted by those around her, especially after the Rex Lapus tragedy.
7 She Works Fast
Keqing even tops Jean when it comes to work ethic. Keqing is able to complete most projects at record speed, even having a turn-around time of just 48 hours for what would normally be a month-long project. This determination is due to the fact that she believes humans are limited in time.
Keqing was prepared to pick up the slack from the Adeptus being killed and handles it the best.
6 She Has Bad Turnover
Keqing, like most who work in business, has to hire employees and assistants to help her manage appointments and small tasks. The only problem is that Keqing can’t seem to keep a worker for very long. This is because most people don’t even come close to keeping up with her work ethic.
In fact, Keqing doesn’t understand why people don’t want to work for more hours every day.
5 She Packs Light
Keqing often goes exploring, but unlike most people, she doesn’t take guards with her or pack luxuries. Keqing is fine with going out into the wilderness with just her sword and finds it easier to move around. The only thing she brings with her other than her sword is her favorite hairpin.
This is one of the strangest ways to try and survive in the wild, but she does it with grace.
4 She is Talented at Survival
One of the reasons that Keqing is able to pack so light is her amazing survival skills. Keqing is familiar with everything it takes to survive while traveling through the wildness. From catching and cooking her own food to making a campfire to keep her warm at night, Keqing is used to it all.
Keqing even knows how to use her hairpin as a nice in case she is ever caught off guard without her sword.
3 She Secretly Loves Rex Lapus
Despite all her talk about how she believes that humans shouldn’t rely on the Gods, she is fond of Rex Lapus. Keqing believes that Rex Lapus had an understanding of her eventual role of leader and has a soft spot for her despite her outward views.
To back these claims, Keqing even admitted that she has a few Rex Lapus dolls that she bought in her room.
2 She Likes Rock Music
It’s not surprising that Keqing would like rock music, especially with her forward-thinking views. As it turns out, she is actually a fan of Xinyan. She states that others around her think that the music is noisy, but she thinks that it sounds good and actually enjoys hearing her play.
Keqing may just be the most metal Genshin Impact character there is.
1 She Likes to Shop
With all of the survival abilities, Keqing possesses one would think her hobby would be something strange. Instead, Keqings hobby is going out shopping, which is pretty surprising given her ability to live off of the land and want to be informal with those around her.
She states that she loves the feeling of having a large variety of choices in front of her when at stores.
