Genshin Impact has officially made costumes for both Jean and her younger sister Barbara to celebrate summer. This is something that has long been asked for by players, so everyone is pretty ecstatic to see that Mihoyo is finally implementing skins. Fans have been drawing up alternative looks for their favorite characters and discussing which ones need a redesign the most.

Some characters were even featured in alternate outfits in promo material like Noelle or shown in the prequel manga with a slightly different style. Below are the ten characters who fans are hoping to see get a soon first.

Fans still can’t help but wish that they could at least have worn an Inazuma festival mask for more than a few minutes, though. The characters below are all top picks for having a new costume.

14 Keqing

Despite being part of the permanent banner characters, Keqing has managed to keep her popularity with the Genshin fans. She is one of the few electro five-stars in the game and has a unique design that helps her character to pop.

With that being said, though, there is no shortage of fanart that shows how incredible Keqing would look in more casual outfits.

13 Amber

12 Outrider Amber is one of the friendly characters in the game, and despite her low damage output, her design is outstanding. Like with Keqing, it would be nice to see Amber dressed in more casual attire or even with some Barron Bunny-themed clothes.

Even a formal wear version of Amber would be a treat as she, along with the other knights, is always dressed for work.

11 Fischl

Fischl is always going on about how she is a princess from another world, so having a royal costume would be perfect for her. While it would be pretty hard to fight in a princess gown, a short dress and tiara would be the perfect outfit for Fischl.

Hopefully, if this happens, Mihoyo won’t leave Oz out of the design scheme because he would look pretty great with a crown.

10 Tartaglia

Tartaglia has a pretty boring outfit in comparison to the rest of the cast, but his attitude and Harbinger status usually make up for it. Tartaglia already has an alternate color outfit in his boss fight, and he easily could buy some new clothes with the amount of mora he has lying around.

It’s pretty hard to say what Tartaglia would look best in, but just about any skin would be welcomed by fans. It honestly seems like a pretty easy event reward for the future.

9 Kaeya

Kaeya is pretty basic in design and is always wearing an eyepatch, despite the fact that nothing is wrong with his eye. Fans would love him to uncover his eye and put on a stylish outfit. Even a tuxedo seems to be a welcome skin for most fans or even just some casual street clothes.

Either way, fans just want to see what’s behind the eye patch he’s always wearing around.

8 Aether and Lumine

The Traveler really should have a skin all of their own, especially since they are traveling all around Teyvat. It’s only natural that they would eventually pick up a few regional outfits to try on. It would be nice to see them wearing a traditional outfit from Liyue or Inazuma.

Even better, they could also get a summer outfit to go with Jean and Barbara or could even wear the same outfit as a character from Honkai.

7 Beidou

Beidou is the captain of the Crux and one of the most fierce fighters in Liyue. Honestly, she deserves a lot more love, and it would be pretty fun to see her in different styles of captain attire. Beidou is one of those characters that fans could have a lot of fun with when it comes to skins.

It would also be pretty great if she could try on more casual wear or borrowing some clothes from Ningguang.

6 Albedo

Albedo is another character that has taken up with the Genshin art community. Fans love to draw him in everyday wear, and honestly, he looks pretty good in it. It’s hard to imagine that he is always walking about Mondstadt wearing his long coat, especially on his days off.

Albedo is a mysterious character, so fans already expect him to have an alternate form in the future.

5 Ningguang

Ningguang is another popular character who hasn’t had much time in the spotlight compared to other characters. She is the richest woman in Liyue, so she must possess a closet of elegant clothes for every occasion, and players want to use these to dress her up.

While it’s hard to picture Ningguang not looking elegant, seeing her dressed normally would be a nice change of pace.

4 Venti

Venti is arguably the most popular character in the game and is even the first character to land a figure outside of the Travelers and Paimon. Venti was also shown in an alternate costume when he was in the manga, one that fans are repeatedly asking to be added to the game.

The outfit is much different than his standard wear and looks majestic on him.

3 Xiangling

Xiangling is another character that is also drawn in casual wear, especially when it means she is wearing hoodies that look like Guoba. Xiangling loves to try new things, and clothes should be no different. She is also a free character, so everyone could benefit from the skin.

Xiangling could even wear a full-on Guoba costume, and fans would be happy.

2 Zhongli

Zhongli is another archon that has already been shown in an alternate outfit. Zhongli currently dresses in a suit, but his original form had a much most mystic feel to it. There is also the knowledge that Zhongli has lived through thousands of years of Liyue fashion.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see some different outfits he loved to wear throughout history.

1 Diluc

Diluc was shown in a butler-like outfit when the KFC event took place. Fans instantly fell in love with this look and are disappointed it hasn’t been made into a skin. People were buying standees of Diluc in this outfit for high prices showing their support for the character.

Diluc is a well-known five-star and a friend to Jean, so it would make sense for him to get a skin sometime soon.
