Genshin Impact is a fun game to speculate about, especially when it comes to some of the leaks that have floated around social platforms. While leaks should always be taken with a pinch of salt, we can’t help but talk about how the characters mentioned in them would be great additions to the game.

Some of these have more backing than others do, especially since they have been mentioned by characters who are already in the game. The list below is a fun take on these leaks and which characters we are most interested in seeing actually debut in the game in the future.

8 YaoYao

We have no idea how a Dendro character would play, but from the evidence provided by Samachurls, it seems like it may be a support class element. Yaoyao is said to be a Dendro catalyst, and from dialogue by characters like Ganyu, we know that she is already a character in the game’s lore.

YaoYao is a character with ties to both Beidou and Ganyu and who seems to like cooking in Liyue. She is even mentioned by Xiangling, who may be helping her learn how to cook.

7 Sayu

Sayu is an interesting character as she is in Ayaka’s voice lines and is the only confirmed character from Inazuma. In the art shown of Sayu, she appears to be the same age as Klee and has a hood that she is able to wear and take off. She is said to be a five-star as well and an Anemo user.

This would make her the fourth five-star Anemo user and the first Anemo claymore user to be introduced to the game. Her costume also seems to resemble a Tanuki, an animal that has long been associated with Japanese folklore.

6 Mimi

Mimi is a character who is extremely confusing as the only thing players are certain of is her appearance. The leak for Mimi shows a girl in an elegant outfit that we are absolutely in love with. Many leaks predict that she will be a hydro catalyst, which is complete speculation, especially since we have both Barbara and Mona already.

It’s also not clear if she is from Inazuma or not either. Mimi is speculated to be a five-star, but there is no proof of her rating or origin.

5 Shenhe

Shenhe is another character that is pretty mysterious. Texture files for the character were reportedly found in a data mine. Shenhe is said to be related to Liyue, but none of the characters have ever mentioned her; even new characters like Yanfei don’t talk about her.

There is also the fact that Eula is a cryo claymore user and a five-star character that was not in data mines but is allegedly coming to 1.5. Shenha does have an interesting design, but some fans are starting to think that she may have been turned into Eula.

4 Yunjin

Yunjin is a character that we have a bit more info about. Yunjin is also from Liyue and is known for being a singer. She performs at the Heyu Tea House in Liyue Harbor and is quite fond of tea, as is revealed in one of Xingqiu’s voice lines about her. This also might mean that she is close to the same age as Xingqiu and Chongyun.

Xinyan also talks about Yunjin and reveals that she is a fan of heavy music. Currently, Yunjin’s elements and weapons are completely unknown to us.

3 Tohma

Tohma is another character who is mentioned in Ayaka’s voice line. In her voice line, she does reveal that Tohma is good with fireworks and helps with festivals in Inazuma. From the dialogue, it seems that Ayaka and Tohma may be close friends, or they at least work together a lot.

Tohma is rumored to be a pyro polearm user, but we have no information on what Tohma’s star rating will be. Tohma is currently predicted to be one of the first Inazuma characters that we can pull for.

2 Yomiya

Yomiya is another character who doesn’t have a model, but information regarding the character’s attacks has been leaked. Yomiya is thought to play similar to Ganyu and is a pyro archer who comes from Inazuma.

The leaks have also stated that Yomiya will be a five-star character that comes from Inazuma. Yomiya hasn’t been mentioned in any character voice lines which is a bit discouraging.

1 Kazuha

Kazuha has gained a lot of traction in recent months and is another character who is thought to be one of the first characters we will be able to pull from Inazuma. Kazuha has had a character model leaked and is said to be another five-star anemo sword user.

Many think that he may have a playstyle similar to Jean. From the name of his burst, it’s likely that he will be able to capture characters in a cyclone to cause massive amounts of swirl damage.
