Genshin Impact introduced a housing system, but in order to get all the decorations you want, you will need to gather a special in-game currency. Realm Currency is different from mora, resin, and primogems and can only be earned inside of the Serenitea Pot itself. So far, there is only one way to actually earn realm currency, and it will be extremely slow to get in the beginning days of having your own realm.

What Is Realm Currency?

Realm currency is used to buy both furniture and blueprints inside of the Serenitea Pot from Tubby and the traveling teapot salesman Chubby. Without realm currency, you won’t have a way to access the large catalog of the available blueprints.

Luckily, you can start earning currency straight away by placing a few decorations and allowing the Jar of Treasures to start building up. As stated above, the currency in your first few days and possibly even weeks will trickle in rather slowly.

Make sure to collect plenty of materials in the overworld and, if possible, try to have a consistent time to pop into the game each day. This will ensure that you won’t have to go in and out of your realm just to constantly gather wood or berries.

The Jar Of Treasures

The Jar of Treasures can only be accessed by talking to Tubby outside your mansion. The jar can be found under the trust rank option and will accumulate money as real-world time goes by. The jar will rank up depending on the amount of adeptal energy your decorations and furniture are giving off.

  • Tip: Make and place all new blueprints to rack up energy points and trust with Tubby.

The higher your adeptal energy ranking, the more currency you are going to earn each hour. The pot does have a limit, though, so waiting too long to withdraw your realm currency means that you are losing out.

  • Tip: Rank up Energy Fast by Making a junk room in a spare room in your mansion; this can be used to place a wide range of items to bump up your energy ranking. Tip: Items have different energy outputs; check to see which item is most profitable to you.

Under the trust rank menu, you can also check your current adepetal energy ranking and which category you fall into. Below are the ranks, along with how much adeptal energy you will need to reach each level. The higher the rank, the more realm currency you will be earning each hour:

The more furniture you have the more currency you’ll receive, and the more blueprints you can buy.
