That’s why knowing which in-game resources to hoard and then splurge on that one awesome 5-star character can be more satisfying. It just so happens that there are a dizzying number of resources in Genshin Impact, and the game really doesn’t tell which of them is important. So, here’s an in-game grocery list of which resources to acquire and conserve especially for a rainy day.
10 Bird Eggs
We did say rainy days, right? Sometimes certain enemies or bosses in the game can surprise players with an unexpected character death or knockout, what have you. Not having the most available revival food in Genshin Impact when this happens is a sure path to frustration.
The current most affordable and available revival food is the Teyvat Fried Egg that can be cooked with nothing more than one Bird Egg. These Bird Eggs are easily obtainable in trees and sometimes, players don’t even have to climb them as they can be knocked out of the branches.
9 Mora
As for the most common currency in Genshin Impact, that would be the actual “gold” currency in the game, which is Mora. It’s needed for leveling up both weapons and characters. Players might think that swimming in Mora is easy but past Adventure Rank 25, it’s a different story since the cost for leveling up multiple characters spikes up high.
That’s why being more thrifty when it comes to Mora and using it only for leveling up characters and weapons in the late game is paramount to not going broke. Avoid buying ingredients for food and only purchase ascension and upgrade materials.
8 White Iron Chunk
White Iron Chunks are important for crafting some 4-star weapons in the event that the players don’t get a worthy 4-star or 5-star weapon from the wish banners. In any case, these 4-star crafted weapons are a lot better than the usual 3-star enhancement trash from the wish banners.

Once they run out, the players really can’t do much killing or grinding as the rewards without the Resin won’t be worth it. Sadly, Original Resin is a time-gated resource and only replenish by one every six minutes for a maximum of 120 regardless of how much time has passed.
5 Fragile Resin
Think of Fragile Resin as an emergency blood pack version of Original Resin. It’s not to be used at a players’ whims simply because being patient with the Original Resin regeneration is a better way of obtaining this resource.
Each Fragile Resin contains 60 Original Resins and can be opened like food packs for when players run out. Still, it’s best to keep these items for co-op sessions where the rewards are big and the players forgot to check their Original Resin reserves.
4 Enhancement Ores
Enhancement Ores are not exactly hard to farm or collect, the Daily Commission quests give reward these out in ample amounts. Even so, with just how demanding the weapons are with these especially in the mid to late-game portions, then safekeeping them for the most powerful weapons should be a must.
Don’t just spend them liberally and spread out among all the weapons your characters use. Picking five weapons or one weapon of each class to pour the Enhancement Ores into can ensure less time wasted in Genshin Impact. Better still, pick a favorite character and prioritize upgrading their weapon first.
3 Ascension Flora
Much like weapon upgrading, character ascension is also quite a chore in Genshin Impact. If not that and they’re not interested in new characters, then ensuring optimal amounts for 10 wishes or more should be a good way to maximize them. It’s not recommended to use them for purchasing Resins. That should preserve some sanity which is another important resource to have when dealing with the gacha system.
