Genshin Impact’s next five-star character is on the way, and she’ll add to the growing roster of Cryo-based party members. Eula is the new hero headlining this week’s banner update, launching on May 18.

Eula’s story quest, Aphros Delos Chapter, launches on the same day. And while there’s no official confirmation of the date and time you’ll be able to pull for her, Mihoyo generally publishes these banners at the same time. With her launch, Eula will be accompanied by Xinyan, Xingqiu, and Beidou.

With the second phase of version 1.5, Beneath The Light of Jadeite, Eula’s launch rings in her addition with a new weapon banner. You’ll soon be able to pull for new gear to accompany her, like the Song of Broken Pines or  Aquila Favonia, both of which are new five-star swords. Eula’s upcoming arrival also meant a new character teaser, which Mihoyo published just this week.

Eula’s story quest is accessible beginning at Adventure Rank 40, and you’ll use Story Keys obtained from dailies to unlock her chapter, just as you have with other party members. The five-star hero’s tale is one of vengeance, as Eula sets out to prove herself by defending Mondstadt and trying to redeem her name.

Genshin Impact’s latest rounds of updates have kept its community busy. If you’re looking for something to dig into until Eula’s arrival, check out the game’s new housing system or pursue new friendships in Hangout Events. Mihoyo also just launched its official PS5 version of the game at the end of April.
